So when I really got into my make up the step I could not do is my eye shadow to save my life, but with a lot of practice I founds a pretty simple way to create a smokey eye or even just a nice simple, quick and easy eye make up look. I will be using the Bobbi Brown Bronzed Nudes Edition Palette, you can use whichever shadows or palette you like.

When it comes to doing my make up I always do my eye shadow and eyebrows first as if there's any fall out it won't ruin your base.
Tool wise you don't need many brushes you'll need a flat concealer brush for the base of your lids, a eye shadow blending brush, and a tapered eye shadow brush.
-To start just define / fill in your eyebrows however you like them, prime your lids I don't use any particular primer as I've used an eye shadow primer before and it's worked no different than a normal primer so I wouldn't worry too much about that. Use the flat concealer brush to conceal your lids to get rid of any discolouration there.
Use the blending eye shadow brush to lightly sweep the palest colour across your brow bone and lid to set the concealer, I would use the colour bone which is like a very very pale cream nude.
-Go back and fourth in the crease using the tapered eye shadow brush, using a darker nude, or a pale brown shade, brush across the lower lash line.
-On the outer corner of the lid use a milky chocolate shade, using circular motions making a V shape, sweeping it into the crease to blend it together, so there's no harsh lines.
-Slightly keep adding small dabs of a dark brown shade, on the outer corner and blend together, don't add too much as dark shades are messy to work with. Using circular motions still and sweeping just half way into the crease to make sure there are no harsh lines.
-If you want to add a little bit of sparkle to the look, I always do who doesn't love a bit of glitter anyway? I use my finger and lightly use a pink copper shade to tap across the lid use as much or as little as you like go crazy if you like. then just buff all together with the blending brush.
-To finish off use a nice pale shimmery shade to lightly press in the inner corner to highlight. I'd use the shade golden glow, or you could even use your everyday highlighter. Then use the tapered shadow brush using the dark brown shade you used to go across the lower lash line and blend it out, finish the look with your usual liner and mascara.
